Journalism and Society: Campaign 2020 Comes to Queens

In this course, students will explore the presidential campaign and its aftermath through the prism of the most diverse urban area in the country–the borough of Queens. Students will explore the campaign issues through the lives and experiences of Queens residents. It is the borough of Archie Bunker as well as the place where Donald Trump grew up. Writing assignments will focus on connecting the campaign to Queens.

Notes: Counts as an elective for the journalism major and both journalism minors.
