Apprenticeship

All students are required to complete two credits in either an apprenticeship and/or internship. Apprentices will be paired with a working writer/editor/audio producer whom they shall assist with roughly five hours of research and reporting per week. In exchange, the writer will meet with the student for a one hour weekly critique of his or her work. An internship is an opportunity to work within a media organization where you will contribute, pitch stories and produce content. Many students will do one apprenticeship and one internship to meet their graduation requirement or two internships.
