Melissa Stewart

Melissa Stewart is the award-winning author of more than 180 science-themed nonfiction books for children. She studied journalism at NYU SHERP.

Loree Griffin Burns

Loree Griffin Burns studied biology, biochemistry and creative writing and now writes books for kids and essays for adults. Her most recent books are about insects at night and the birth of a volcano island in Iceland.

Lita Judge

Lita Judge has written and illustrated 24 books. One of them was recently adapted into an off-Broadway musical. Her new book is about tree communication.
