Join Prof. Schellmann’s investigative class via zoom to learn how these three students turned investigative journalists were able to report groundbreaking stories with profound outcomes. Theo Baker’s reporting led to the resignation of Stanford University’s president. Anna Mutoh was able to publish her master’s project on the maternal mental health crisis on the frontpage of the Wall Street Journal. Marie-Rose Sheierman’s reporting in the Daily Princetonian led to the dismissal of a tenured professor for sexual misconduct. We will hear how they found and reported their stories and then have an informal Q&A.
