Arthur L. Carter School of Journalism adjunct professor James Marcus will launch his new book with Princeton University Press, GLAD TO THE BRINK OF FEAR: A Portrait of Ralph Waldo Emerson (pub date: March 5, 2024). He plans to be in conversation with Merve Emre, contributing writer at the New Yorker and author of acclaimed books in literary studies, including THE PERSONALITY BROKERS and THE FERRANTE LETTERS.
