New Publication Debuts for Science Book Reviews, Essays
The Cooper Square Review is a new publication devoted to book reviews, essays and musings from and about the world of science. It is a project of the NYU Carter Institute of Journalism, with the generous support of the Simons Foundation. Much of the work in it was written for the Science Communication Workshops at NYU, which train science faculty, Ph.D. students, post-docs, and medical, dental and nursing students in the basics of communicating science to broad audiences. You may also see contributions from students and graduates of NYU’s Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program, a masters program for aspiring science journalists.
