White Building, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, by Rebeca Corleto

NYU’s international reporting class for graduate students produced two reports for PBS NewsHour, on land rights and development and a 360/VR look inside the White Building, an iconic community in downtown Phnom Penh slated for demolition. These reports follow others on the New York Times and PBS NewsHour in April and May. GlobalBeat 2017’s class includes Rebeca Corleto, Ben Dalton, Mathieu Faure, Ashley Lyles, Ayesha Shakya, Olga Slobodchikova and Tara Yarlagadda and is run by professor Jason Maloney.
