Master Class with Kirsten Johnson
On September 20, Kirsten Johnson welcomed the latest group of NewsDoc students and offered advice to last year’s cohort — who just finished shooting their thesis films over the summer.
Johnson teaches the NewsDoc visual thinking class as well as working as a director and director of photography for documentary. Her directorial debut, “Cameraperson” was recently broadcast on PBS and is now available for streaming online through POV.
