Alum Kaitlin Sprague screened her documentary “Our Brother Jordan” at Helping or Hurting: The Media’s Impact on Reporting Mental Health on February 23, 2018.

The event, which was presented by Samaritans NYC and the NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, focused on the ways mental health and suicide are presented in the media and how reporters can responsibly cover mental health issues.
