Hearst Awards honors two NYU undergraduate students

The Hearst Journalism Awards honored two NYU students in its annual multimedia enterprise competition open to undergraduate students nationwide. Senior Yara Hamway’s piece on “Urban Farming in NYC” was one of the Top 10 finalists. “Young, Queer and Left Behind: A Community in Crisis,” by junior Jesus Ian Kumamoto, finished in 16th Place.
