Two NYU Journalism alumni win 2018 Gerald Loeb Award

Ed Silverman (MA 1988), who works at The Boston Globe’s STAT health news site, received the 2018 Gerald Loeb Award for commentary for his “Pharmalot View” columns on the pharmaceutical industry.

Charles Rollet, who graduated just last month from BER, won in the International category as a member of a Wall Street Journal team writing on “China’s Surveillance State.” Charles was a recipient of a Marjorie Deane Fellowship during his studies at NYU.
