Second Hearst win in two years for NYU undergrad

NYU journalism major Jing Feng took 2nd Place in the Hearst Awards Multimedia Narrative Storytelling competition for her piece “How China Became a Nation of #brandygirls.” The win was Feng’s second Hearst Award in two years. In 2019, she finished in 4th Place in the Television Features category for the videos “Noodletown – First Generation Immigrant Examines His Roots in Chinatown” and “Mass Protests Against NYPD and MTA Burst Out in Brooklyn.”
