Three NYU Seniors Earn a Spot on the Hearst Awards

The Hearst Awards recently announced that winners in two of its major categories were NYU Journalism students. Congratulations to senior Laura Measher (4th Place of the TV Features competition for her two stories Online Music Education and Meer’s Pies). Two other seniors, Celia Tewey (Industry Standards – A Look into the World of Fashion, Fame and Pressure) and Victor Chen (Covid Babies), placed in the Top 20 of the Hearst Awards Multimedia Narrative Video Storytelling. Measher, Tewey’s and Chen’s stories were completed in Professor Jane Stone’s course TV Reporting: Neighborhoods and published on the undergraduate journalism website Cooper Squared.
