Alejandra Arevalo, BA 2020

Alejandra Arevalo has been selected as a Hearst Developer Fellow. She will be working on projects related to data visualization, interactive visual storytelling, and artificial intelligence. Alejandra was first exposed to data journalism and visualization as part of Meredith Broussard’s Data Journalism class which partnered with The COVID Tracking Project at The Atlantic. She has covered politics, lifestyle topics, and the Latino community for outlets including USA Today and Latina Magazine and worked as a podcast producer at iHeartMedia.
