Rachel was selected to be the 2024-’25 Disability Reporting Fellow for The New York Times. She will be responsible for covering daily U.S. news on the National desk alongside coverage of the disability community at large. Prior to this, Rachel had long covered the U.S. military as a Marine Corps veteran herself and has interned at Reuters and the Associated Press in London as an Overseas Press Club Scholar, and reported for New York Magazine from
