Prof. Mohamad Bazzi wins award from the National Society of Newspaper Columnists

Mohamad Bazzi, an Associate Professor of Journalism and Director of NYU’s Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies, was awarded second place in the “Crisis Commentary” category by the National Society of Newspaper Columnists for his Guardian US columns on the Middle East in 2024. Professor Bazzi is a regular contributor to the Guardian US opinion section, writing on US foreign policy and corruption in the Trump Administration.
