Before pursuing my master’s degree at NYU’s AJO, I struggled to break into the world of journalism, unable to secure interviews or opportunities. Joining the program was a turning point. Almost immediately, doors began to open, and I received incredible opportunities that I once thought were out of reach: I interned at NBC Los Angeles and Telemundo 52 for the Digital Team and for the Assignment Desk. The program not only sharpened my writing skills, but also connected me with inspiring professors, mentors, and peers who continue to support my journey. I also get to work doing what I have always wanted. Choosing NYU was the best decision I’ve made, and it transformed my life for the better.
