Ben is a photojournalist based in New York City, where he has been working for the past 12 years after graduating from NYU with a degree in Economics. He’s photographed over 700 assignments for The New York Times, and has completed dozens of non-profit and commercial projects. He’s also been sent on assignment for The New York Times Magazine, TIME, New York Magazine, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, and other publications. His work has been recognized by American Photography, POYi, NPPA Best of Photojournalism, nominated for PDN 30, and other distinctions. Ben is most proud to be a mentor at NYC SALT, a non-profit photography program working with underserved teenagers in New York City.
