CK Smith

CK Smith is an writer, editor, and educator currently based in Tampa.  While at AJO, she worked as a journalism and creative writing educator at a local high school. AJO helped prepare her for a newsroom position with the local ABC affiliate as weekend planner and data journalist, and as a visiting professor of communications at the University of Tampa.

AJO was the perfect program for me. It served as an internship for expanding my journalism and storytelling skills. Mostly, I am grateful for AJO giving me a network of friends and mentors that I can still rely on for anything – being guest speakers in my classes, brainstorming ideas with me, and supporting each other in our life journeys. I love my Violet Family!
