Iman Palm

Iman Palm had just finished undergrad at Cal State Long Beach when she enrolled at AJO. She’d worked at her college newspaper and interned at EdSource, but wanted to expand and deepen her skills. Within just a few months of graduating, Iman got a job as a digital reporter at KTLA.

I learned so much from my professors in the program. Joel Marino taught me the fundamentals of reporting, Claire Tighe taught me about the world of podcasting, and I got my first freelance article published in Julia Dahl’s feature class. I’m grateful that I attended the program.”
