Jen Ortiz

Jen Ortiz is the deputy editor at Cosmopolitan. Jen oversees the brand’s daily digital editorial operations, in addition to editing and contributing features, profiles, essays, news, and more. Previously, Jen was a senior editor at Marie Claire. Before that, she worked at GQ. Her writing has also appeared in Misadventures magazine, Narrative.ly, New York, papermag, and elsewhere. Jen is an alum of the graduate magazine writing program at NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute and Yale University; today, she lives in Brooklyn with everyone else.
