As a longtime journalist, graduating from NYU’s American Journalism Online Master’s program allowed me to expand my news writing skills into longform journalism and learn how to navigate the rapidly evolving digital media landscape. With the support of hardworking, dedicated professors and AJO’s mentor program, I gained the confidence to launch my independent journalist career with a new successful Substack newsletter, East Wing Magazine. None of this was imagined until I completed the program and realized I was well-equipped to pursue a place in the burgeoning Creator space.
