Jessica Huseman

Jessica Huseman is an investigative reporter for ProPublica and an analyst for CNN. She has been the lead reporter for ProPublica’s Electionland project — a collaborative journalism initiative training and sharing information with hundreds of local journalists on voting and elections — since 2016. She is also a trainer for the Ida B. Wells Society, which trains reporters and editors of color in the field of investigative reporting and authored a high school investigative journalism curriculum in use by more than 250 high schools across the country. She was the recipient of the Society of Professional Journalists Sunshine Award in 2019, which recognizes significant contributions to government transparency. She lives in Dallas, TX with her partner and their two dogs, Walter and Raven.
