Kelso Harper

Kelso Harper is a multimedia journalism instructor for SHERP. As Scientific American’s senior multimedia editor, they built and the ran the publication’s award-winning vertical video operation for more than three years. They also produced short documentaries, podcast episodes, YouTube videos and written articles for Scientific American, and their multi-platform work appears in other renowned publications like Science, WIRED, and MIT News. Kelso has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s in science writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they now guest lecture on vertical video.
