Visiting Scholar
Klara Vlahcevic Lisinski works on the intersection of journalism and geopolitics. With a BA in Journalism and Multimedia, and MA in Advanced EU and International Relations, she is currently doing her second MA in Global Security and Strategy. She was awarded the Hubert H Humphrey fellowship for her journalistic work. Klara deals with the interconnectedness of international law and journalistic work as a tool in the service of proving and then prosecuting crimes against humanity, genocide, mass atrocities and ethnic cleansing. She has been published in various media across Europe, the MENA region and USA, and is the co-editor-in-chief of The European Correspondent, and collaborator with the Palestine-Israel Journal, as well as a fellow at ITSS Verona security think tank. Her professional interests have to do with war zones, countries in transition, memory politics, anthropology and foreign affairs.
