Lambeth Hochwald

Adjunct Faculty

Lambeth Hochwald is a New York City-based freelance journalist who focuses on consumer lifestyle trends and issues of importance to women. Hochwald writes for a wide range of news outlets, including WebMD, Medscape, Prevention, Food Network, Parade and Eating Well, and is a regular contributor to the New York Post, where she leans into reporting on the lives of real New Yorkers, whether it’s gold dealers on 47th Street, families in the five boroughs, celebrities, or a profile of a nun with a new memoir. A graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism, Hochwald teaches Inquiry and has also taught The Interview, Magazine Writing and Health Reporting since she joined the adjunct faculty in 2001. In 2023, Hochwald was named an adjunct associate professor at CUNY Hunter College where she teaches Entertainment Journalism.
