Mary Ellen Egan

Mary Ellen Egan is a veteran journalist and newsroom manager. She was the chief of reporters at Forbes, deputy editor at The American Lawyer, and managing editor of First Amendment Watch, a project of the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at NYU. She was also one of the founding editors of Forbes Woman magazine and website and managed four B2B websites for Social Media Today.

Mary Ellen has written about nearly all facets of business journalism from biotechnology to law to company and executive profiles. Her work has appeared in BloombergBusiness Week, Bloomberg Law, Thomson Reuters, University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is currently a senior editor at American Banker.
