Rebecca Klein

Rebecca Klein is a freelance journalist whose work has appeared in outlets like NPR, The Guardian and The Hechinger Report. Previously, she worked as a senior reporter and editor at HuffPost, where she reported on education, labor and policy and balanced long-term investigations with breaking news and scoops. She started her career in radio at WNYC.
Her work has been recognized by organizations like the Education Writers Association and the Online News Association. She has a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University. She previously taught investigative reporting and multimedia journalism to undergraduate students at Five Towns College on Long Island.
