Sara Ashley

Before AJO, I was a freelancer stuck in an office job I didn’t like. AJO taught me skills I immediately applied to my freelance work and challenged me to grow as a reporter and a writer. Plus, my classmates genuinely inspired me with their work and dedication. A fellow alum recommended me for a staff writer position on her team and I’m now working a dream job writing about things that matter to me. I credit AJO with illuminating the path forward towards a fulfilling career, and providing the tools and guides necessary to follow that path confidently.
