Teresa Guerreiro

During a 30-year career with the BBC World Service radio, double award-winning journalist Teresa Guerreiro worked on all aspects of news production, as a writer, broadcaster, news/current affaris editor and documentary/feature maker. She also played a prominent role in training younger colleagues at the BBC. Originally from Portugal, she was London correspondent for the main Portuguese weekend newspaper, Expresso, in the 1980s and 1990s. She holds an MA in English Studies from the Classic University in Lisbon. Teresa has translated a number of English literary works into Portuguese. She now blogs as one half of balletposition.com.
