Guidelines & Policies at 20 Cooper Square

NYU ID Cards

As elsewhere on campus, entrance to 20 Cooper Square requires a valid NYU ID card.

Hours of Operation

The Institute is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 11:00 pm.

For weekend access, email Adrian Mihai at am14@nyu.edu to be added to the list.

Hours of access will be extended during the weeks leading up to final exam periods.

Food and Drink

Food and drink are not permitted in any newsrooms or studios — this is to prevent damage to computers and other sensitive equipment.

Students are permitted to bring food and drink into the 6th and 7th floor common areas.
