Free Workshop: An Introduction to WordPress
*Free for current NYU Journalism students | $45 for Alumni
This workshop will give beginners an introduction to the fundamentals of WordPress as a content management system. We’ll look at the different ways you can put your content on a WordPress site (posts and pages) and how to customize the appearance to make it a unique portfolio site for you. This is a workshop, so bring your computer an dbe prepared to set up the site in class!
About the instructor:
Patty Delgado is a software engineer with extensive programming experience with a variety of platforms and frameworks. She currently works as an engineering team lead at fashion and style site Refinery29, where she manages the compant’s desktop and tablet design.
