Over the last seven years, under the Obama Administration, the United States expanded and deepened its leadership at the United Nations and in other international organizations in response to proliferating global problems. As President Obama just concluded his last UNGA, Assistant Secretary Crocker discusses accomplishments of the Administration’s “Era of Engagement” within multilateral institutions and why that continued engagement is more important than ever to tackle the toughest emerging challenges.
