You don’t need “Deep Throat” to expose government secrets and data. From police corruption to faked life on Mars, Big Pharma scandals to election suppression, top journalists from the New York Times, Newsday and Scientific American will tell how to report original news using Freedom of Information laws.
At this all-star panel, you’ll learn tips, strategies and story-generating tactics on getting access to federal and New York public records.
The event is being held in partnership with the New York University Journalism Department.
