The next “Art of Freelancing” event features two more world-class freelancers: Christie Aschwanden will speak about building a community to support your work, and Yessenia Funes will talk about apps and hacks to keep your freelance business thriving. This series is moderated and produced by Anna Rothschild.

Registration is first-come, first-served. Sign up to participate in-person or online HERE.

This is a hybrid event with both in-person and online participation (over Zoom). This event is for the NYU Journalism community only, and you must pre-register to participate.

Food and drink starts at 6:00, so come early! We’ll start the event at 6:30 with 20-minute talks from each speaker packed with useful information. After the prepared talks, we’ll break into small groups for individualized Q & A and conversation with Christie and Yessenia, including for Zoom participants.

For those participating online, we will email you the Zoom link a few hours before the event begins; registration will close at noon on Oct. 2.
