It All Comes to an End

By Shayra Kamal

I was mistaken yesterday; THIS is my final entry. There will be a graduation ceremony this afternoon(with cupcakes).

I didn’t think I was going to be able to hang out with everyone else in the program, since I’m already out of high school. But I was pleasantly surprised, and I did like talking to all of the people at this program, especially Kaitlyn, Gavin, Christian, Ani, Khalil, and sometimes Matthew. Here is a list of all the participants and one thing I liked about each of them:

Gavin-His one-of-a-kind cynicism.

Kaitlyn-There’s nothing  I DON’T like about this girl. =]

Katherine-How helpful and kind she is.

Ani-How he always makes conversation.

Matthew-The funny things he says sometimes.

Nashia-Her fashion sense and cool attitude.

Ami-Her friendliness and great listening skills, and her cupcake obsession.

Natalie-Her openness and great laugh.

Raina-The passion she has for writing her stories.

Nilufer- The weird, but interesting conversations we’ve had.

Christian- See “Kaitlyn” and add unforgettably amazing awkwardness (We love you, Christian!)

Janah- Her unique background and stories.

Khalil- This guy’s so cool, he doesn’t even have to say a word.

Caroline- Her bubbly personality and friendliness.

And also thanks to the professors, who made publishing the articles and multimedia. And special thanks to Kash the best RA/grad student/person to hang out with us outside of 20 Cooper Square.

I’m going to miss everyone a lot =( I hope we can all keep in touch, through FB,phone, etc. Kaitlyn and Christian, we need to hang out so that I can give you guys your money back.

Thanks everyone for making this program great!
