Emmy Award-Winning Investigative Reporter Hilke Schellmann Joins NYU Journalism Faculty

Hilke Schellmann, a documentary filmmaker and investigative reporter, joins the faculty of New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute as an assistant professor. Her investigative documentary “Outlawed in Pakistan,” which aired on PBS/Frontline, won numerous awards including an Emmy. Her work has appeared at VICE, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Atlantic, HBO and others. Previously, Schellmann served as director of video journalism at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
