Diana Kruzman, MA 2021, GloJo

Diana Kruzman received the Overseas Press Club Foundation’s 2021 Harper’s Magazine Award in memory of I.F. Stone. She produced two stories; one about how climate change raises the risk of contamination from nuclear waste in Kyrgyzstan and the other about the world’s last exporting mercury mine and how it continues to operate despite effects on health and the environment.
