NYU Journalism-NAHJ Scholarship
The New York University Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute is proud to offer a new full-tuition scholarship to a National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) member admitted to one of the ten NYU Journalism graduate programs in the fall of 2021.
This full tuition scholarship is worth $70,000+.
The goal of the NYU Journalism-NAHJ scholarship is to support an exceptional journalist who might not otherwise have the opportunity to earn a graduate journalism degree in one of our top-level NYU graduate journalism programs:
The strength of NYU’s journalism program stems from the accomplishments of our faculty, who are at the top of their fields. Our professors author books on important contemporary topics. They publish in the most prestigious papers, magazines, and reviews. And they produce award-winning documentaries and broadcast news specials for major media outlets. NYU professors are much more than just mentors—they are deeply invested in their students’ success as future journalists.
Interested candidates only need to complete the regular NYU Journalism application.
Proof of membership in the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) must be submitted at the time of accepting the fellowship award. Applicants may join NAHJ upon receiving the offer. Please note that membership in the NAHJ is open to individuals of all racial backgrounds, and this scholarship is as well.
