A Word About  Electives

The audio concentration is currently developing classes in non-narrated audio, fact-checking for audio, developing audio-centered live performance and more. One of the benefits of an NYU education is that there are so many opportunities to tailor your program to suit your individual goals. While you may choose to focus exclusively on audio, the Journalism Institute is full of award winning distinguished journalists. Consider taking courses from among the other offerings available in the Journalism Institute, such as:

  • Programing For Journalists

Bear in mind that students are not limited to electives only within the Journalism department.
