NewsDoc alum Alexandra Nikolchev’s documentary “The Place That Makes Us,” premiers at DOC NYC and screens at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival

As Producer and DP, Alexandra spent three years following a young group of leaders determined to rebuild their post-industrial town in Youngstown, Ohio.

“The Place That Makes Us” will air for the public as part of PBS’s America Reframed Season 9 on March 30th, 2021.
