NewsDoc is excited to have Director & Cinematographer Kirsten Johnson back for a Master Class this fall! Kirsten just won a Directing Emmy for Dick Johnson is Dead (2020), and has made many other award winning documentaries including the much loved Cameraperson (2016).

She will talk about her recent work, and give feedback to NewsDoc students on their verite footage and thesis projects.
