The art of freelancing logo
Ace science, health, environment, and tech journalists share their best hacks and tips on pitching, contracts, taxes, and everything else you need to know to freelance well and profitably.
Our next Art of Freelancing event will be Oct. 2 from 6:30-8 online and in the 7th floor Commons of 20 Cooper Square. Christie Aschwanden will speak about building a community to support your work, and Yessenia Funes will talk about apps and hacks to keep your freelance business thriving. As usual, there will be plenty of time for small-group Q & A afterward with Christie and Yessenia, including for Zoom participants. However, you must register in advance to join us in person or online, and space is limited (first come first served).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Unlike previous Art of Freelancing events, this one will NOT be livestreamed on this web page. It will instead be streamed over Zoom. You need to register in advance to get the Zoom link. The presentations by Christie and Yessenia WILL be archived on this page several days after the event.
