The Atlantic covers news, politics, culture, technology, health, and more, through its articles, podcasts, videos, and flagship magazine.  Mayuri Mei Lin (2020) worked with the Atlantic during her final project.

ABC News is a trusted news source for breaking news, analysis, exclusive interviews, and videos. Michael Rothman (2013) worked with ABC News during his final project.

Bellingcat is a Netherlands-based investigative journalism group that specializes in fact-checking and open-source intelligence (OSINT). Alex John Beck (2021) worked with the organization for his final project presentation.

Since 1945, Ebony Magazine has shined a spotlight on the worlds of Black people in America and worldwide. Two Studio 20 Students have had the opportunity to work with Ebony.com; Khwezi Magwaza (2012)and Patrice Peck (2012).

 

The Future Journalism Project explores better ways to produce, consume and understand the news. Chao Li (2011) partnered with the organization during her time at Studio 20.

HuffPost covers breaking, US, and World News. We’ve had multiple students in the program partner with them throughout the history of the program. Niel Bekker (2011), Sarah Bourassa (2014), Katherine Patke (2012)and Kyli Singh (2014).

Mashable is a global, multi-platform media and entertainment company. Todd Olmstead (2011) partnered with them for his final presentation.

The Neiman Journalism Lab is an attempt to help journalism figure out its future in an Internet age. Madeline Welsh (2015) worked with the organization during her time.

 

 

ProPublica is an independent, non-profit newsroom that produces investigative journalism in the public interest. Students Eric French Monge (2015), and Assia Boundaoui (2011) worked with the organization during their Studio 3 projects.

The Atavist Magazine publishes one incredible true story every month. They specialize in longform narratives, the kind you want to read to the very last word. Derick Dirmaier (2013 + current faculty) worked with the platform during his time at Studio 20.

The Christian Science Monitor, commonly known as The Monitor, is a nonprofit news organization that publishes daily articles in electronic format as well as a weekly print edition. Laura Edwins (2012) partnered with them for her Studio 3 project.

 

Curated by professional editors, The Conversation offers informed commentary and debate on the issues affecting our world. Anissa Pierre (2017) worked with the organization at Studio 20.

The Financial Times is a British daily newspaper printed in broadsheet and published digitally that focuses on business and economic current affairs. The FT has been a long-time, trusted partner of Studio 20.  The class of 2020 partnered with them to develop a news product strategy based on audience research.  Alumni, Sarah Andersen (2021)and Fernanda Braune Brackenrich (2016), both partnered with the FT for their Studio 3 projects.
